Solo Art Exhibition

Marshal Nwauwa was born on the 21st of February 1972 in Oguta Imo state. Whilst he was a student of Public Administration at the University of Calabar.  Marshal was already a practicing  artist, honing his now recognized skills at the Curio Studio Surulere, Lagos, Nigeria.

This bundle of self taught talent is based in Lagos. He has worked with some of the continent’s most celebrated artists like Sam Ovraiti, Olu Ajayi, Pita Ohiwerei and others.

His works are on display across Nigeria and several galleries in Europe and America. A detailed tour of unspoken realities surrounding the daily life of ordinary people negotiating their way around dreams and drudgery, hopes and disappointments of “another day”,

Marshal’s colour works place him highly amongst the colourists. He has developed his black ‘n’ white paintings to a point that they presently enjoy unusual followership and patronage among art collectors.

He has participated in over 20 group exhibitions and a solo. His works are on display across Nigeria and several galleries in Europe and America.
